Experimental research on refrigeration performance of air conditioning system of pure electric passenger cars with economizer

Aiming at solving the problems of high compressor discharge temperature, pressure, insufficient cooling capacity, and reduced system efficiency in air-conditioning pure electric passenger cars summer temperature environment, this paper develops a low pressure economizer using principle quasi-two-stage compression cycle. The heat pump air conditioning air-supplemented car is set up to study its refrigeration performance. results show that environment 50?C, compared with non-supplemented system, supplemental gas drops by 13.54?C, capacity reduces 2.0%, power 3.4%, coefficient increases 1.4%.
